Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has opened up on her fallout with colleague Genevieve Nnaji.

On the Tea with Tay podcast, she spoke about their sour friendship, reflecting on how it quickly faded.

Kate said she couldn’t pinpoint what caused their friendship to break down, but she believes they grew apart or that there was some level of mistrust.

She made it clear that she remains unsure about things and doesn’t know what came up on the screen goddess.

“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her”.

In 2024, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Henshaw shared her thoughts on Genevieve Nnaji’s reserved nature, mentioning that it sometimes leads people to question if they’ve done something wrong.

Henshaw recalled a moment when she felt unsure about her relationship with Nnaji because of Nnaji’s distant demeanour.

However, during a film shoot, Henshaw realised that Nnaji’s behaviour was not personal.
