George Beke Inducted Into 2025 Grammy Recording Academy Class

Nigerian music executive, George Beke aka Geobek has been officially invited to join the esteemed 2025 New Member Class of the Recording Academy.

The Recording Academy’s new member class comprises a diverse group of music professionals who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and dedication to the craft.

Geobek’s expertise and unique perspective will contribute to the Academy’s mission of celebrating, honoring, and advocating for music creators.

Speaking on his inclusion into the Academy, Geobek appreciated the Recording Academy for the recognition.

“This recognition is not just for me, but for the countless African artists, producers, and creatives who are tirelessly pushing boundaries and enriching the global music tapestry,” he said.

Continuing, Geobek who is the founder of Geobek Standard and Geobek Entertainment said, “I am committed to leveraging this platform to further advocate for diverse voices and ensure that African music continues to receive the recognition it so richly deserves.”

He expressed that he’s proud to represent Africa and contribute to raising the standard for musical excellence globally in reaction to being selected as a new member.

“The Academy’s strength is in its diversity of genres, cultures, and voices. I’m proud to represent Africa and contribute to a global standard of musical excellence.”

His induction is a testament to the growing influence of African music and its increasing integration into mainstream global culture. Geobek’s journey exemplifies the power of passion and strategic vision in shaping the future of entertainment.
