Nigerian music star, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel, will perform his hit single ‘Buga’ at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Kizz Daniel made the disclosure via Twitter saying that his wish to perform at the global football tournament had been granted.
Vado, as he is also called by fans, had tweeted back in June that he would love to perform Buga at the World Cup opening ceremony with a mass choir.
Buga, which was released on May 4, 2022, has enjoyed a successful run on charts. The hit song also initiated several dance challenges on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok with prominent persons like the President of Liberia, George Weah, dancing to it.
Kizz Daniel who just completed his “Afroclassic Tour” of the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and a number of African countries would have earned himself a special bragging right when he mounts the stage in Qartar next month.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is set to hold in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
