American music icon Beyoncé is set to deliver a halftime performance during the National Football League’s (NFL) Christmas Day game this year.
The announcement, made via Beyoncé’s official Instagram account and the game broadcaster Netflix, revealed that she will perform during the matchup between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens.
Beyoncé’s highly anticipated set will feature tracks from her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter, marking the album’s first live showcase.
“Although the details of her performance are under wraps, Beyonce is expected to feature some special guests who are featured on the Cowboy Carter album,” Netflix, which will stream the NFL Christmas games, said in a statement.
This won’t be the 43-year-old superstar’s first collaboration with the NFL. She headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in 2013 and returned in 2016 to perform alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
Beyoncé’s latest performance announcement comes on the heels of her record-breaking achievement as the most-nominated artist in Grammys history, with 11 nominations this season.
