American music entertainment couple, Jayz and Beyonce and their first daughter Ivy-Blue, has arrived Ghana for the Year of Return program.

Their arrival is coming a couple of days after Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, was spotted at the Kotoka International Airport taking photos with some workers after her arrival.

The family are the latest Americans visiting Ghana to witness the historic moment which has seen American rapper, Ludacris and journalist, Martin Roland visit the West African country.

Launched in 2018, the Year of Return campaign encourages people of African descent, whose ancestors were victims of the brutal slave trade, to return to Ghana. The government has been marketing its slave sites aggressively to Africans in diaspora tracing their roots.

Recall that Ghana made 126 foreign nationals who have lived in the country for many years it’s citizens as part of the campaign.
