Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has voluntarily withdrawn from the reality television show.
The announcement came shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.
Neche, who served as Head of House for the week, gathered her fellow housemates in the lounge to inform them of her decision.
She did not give reasons for her exit.
After the announcement, the housemate removed her microphone and name tag before proceeding to the diary room to complete the exit process.
The development left other contestants emotional.
Her sudden departure has also sparked reactions on social media, with some viewers speculating that it could be part of a twist by the show’s producers.
The 2026 edition of BBNaija, themed ‘Show Ya Sef’, premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a record N160 million grand prize.
With Neche’s withdrawal, the number of housemates in the house drops to 20.
Martins and Mercedes were evicted in week one, while Kamsy was evicted during Sunday’s live show.
