Barbie Voted Best Film As King Charles’ Coronation Is Named The Most-Watched TV Moment Of 2023

Barbie has been voted as the best film of the year while the King’s Coronation was the most-watched show on TV in 2023.


The BBC’s coverage of Charles’ ascension to the throne was watched by a total of 12.8 million viewers. It reportedly garnered nearly a million more viewers than the second most-watched show of the year; the final of BBC series Happy Valley, seen by 11.9 million viewers in February.


The Eurovision Song Contest in May was the third most-watched show with 10.7 million viewers, while Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off was watched by 9.7 million people.
