Arivla, a Nigerian e-Commerce website for indigenous fashion, is celebrating Nigerian indigenous fashion, fabrics and culture today at The Podium, in Lagos.

Among the handful events scheduled for the event are the Arivla Trade Station, the Aso Ebi Exhibition, a fashion runway event, and the Aso Ebi After Party, and a runway event – which ends on a high note with the Best Dressed guest/attendee.

Via the Arivla Trade Station, organizer in collaboration with Looped Love, Purple Entertainment and The Returnees offers guests/attendees a platform to buy, trade, sell or swap their priced vintage items (in good condition) with others. They also have the option of auctioning such valuable items, with donations from the event gifted to the organizer’s partner charity.

At the Aso Ebi Exhibition, vendors such as Afari Travels, ATS Spa, Choplife Guru, Elysium Beach Club & Boat Rentals, Funtok, Fusi By Brasas, Octo 5, among others will exhibit various fabrics, wedding dresses, accessories, food & beverages, among others.

A fashion runway show featuring collections by top Nigerian designers like Bibi Lawrence, Mazelle Bridal, HRH Luxury, Style Headquarters, Stitches By Laura, Nichole Stylish, Shadiat Alasooke, Black Adudu, TDA Couture, Marte Egele and Zainab Saphir NG will take place, while the day ends with the Asoebi After Party.

Themed ‘Old Money versus New Money’, guests in attendance are expected to attend wearing their best traditional and Asoebi outfits where the Best Dressed of them, will be awarded, and music, food and dance are in surplus.
