Yemi Alade, D’banj, Olamide To Perform At Africa Military Games Opening Ceremony In Abuja

Singers Timi Dakolo, Yemi Alade, D’banj, and Olamide are set to perform at the 2024 Africa Military Games in Abuja.

In a post via X on Tuesday, the army announced that the games’ second edition will be held at the MKO Abiola International Stadium.

According to the tweet, the artistes will thrill the audience at the opening ceremony of the event on November 20.

“The stage is set and the legends are coming for the opening ceremony of #AMGA2024,” the post reads.

“Watch @Olamide, @iamdbanj, @yemialadee and @timidakolo light up the opening ceremony like never before. It’s happening tomorrow.”

The games will showcase 19 different events with 3,000 athletes representing 48 African countries, taking place from November 18 to 30.

Both male and female athletes will participate in sporting activities such as badminton, boxing, basketball, combat swimming, football, golf, judo, and kickboxing.

Other games include obstacle crossing, shooting, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, teakwando, volleyball, and wrestling among others.
