Miss Jamaica, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, has been rushed to hospital after she stumbled off the stage during the Miss Universe competition.

The Jamaica representative fell from the stage on Wednesday during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown round in Thailand.

A viral video on social media captured the moment Gabrielle Henry was strolling across the stage in a long orange gown before falling off the stage.

The clip from the pageant shows when she was being taken away from the venue to the hospital on a stretcher.

Confirming the incident, the Miss Universe Organisation in a statement on Wednesday disclosed that Henry is currently receiving treatment at Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Thailand.

Miss Universe President, Raúl Rocha Cantú, who visited the hospital, said “Henry sustained minor wounds. She is receiving treatment at a hospital in Bangkok, where she will remain under observation overnight.”
