Immersive Art Experience Celebrates London Nightlife

An immersive art experience dedicated to going out is coming to London this Easter weekend.

The Art of Going Out exhibition will be held on March 30 and March 31, celebrating the best parts of the capital’s nightlife.

This includes bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs, and unique experiences, with 12 specially designed art pieces that double as photo opportunities.

The art event is curated by experiential expert EDNAEDNA and commissioned by DesignMyNight, the event discovery and booking platform.

Some of the 12 bespoke pieces that attendees can expect include a space dedicated to London’s “late-night guilty pleasures”, a wall of teddy bears symbolising the rise of “big kid activities”, and the “world’s most pointless queue”.

Leighanne Bent, Senior Marketing Manager at DesignMyNight, said: “We wanted to create a never-seen-before event that celebrates and captures the quirkiest aspects of going out in London.

“With a 35 per cent rise in searches on DesignMyNight for ‘immersive art experiences’, The Art of Going Out Exhibition felt like the perfect fit – we can’t wait to reveal the full line-up of exhibits.”

The exhibition is more than just an art showcase.

It marks the launch of the DesignMyNight Art of Going Out Awards 2024, where the public can vote for their favourite places and experiences within London.

The vote is open for one month and features 12 categories, such as ‘The Pub You Couldn’t Live Without’, ‘The Experience That Defines London’, and ‘TikTok Made Me Book It’.

The Art of Going Out: The Exhibition will be held at 15 Bateman Street on Saturday, March, 30 and Sunday, March 31.
